| Virginia Stroke Systems is a multi-partner initiative led by the American Stroke Association and Virginia Department of Health, with the voluntary participation of many service providers across the Commonwealth. Our purpose is to influence and support change in the stroke service delivery system across all components of care. Areas of focus include Prevention, Emergency Medical Services, Acute Care, Sub-Acute and Secondary Prevention, and Rehabilitation.
